My Take on Takahashi Ai's Graduation from Morning Musume

It's been about a week since Takahashi Ai (Morning Musume's current leader) announced at the Hello! Project Winter Concert that she would be graduating (leaving) the group after the Fall Tour this year.
Copied from my tumblr, here's my opinion on this.

So now that I've finally calmed down and no longer have a heart attack, here's my reaction and understanding of this overall situation...

I was just minding my own business, checking out the new articles on Allkpop, then as I scroll down I see the Tokyohive news and see "Morning Musume's Leader Takahashi Ai To Graduate In The Fall!"

My reaction:

WUT?

I was absolutely SHOCKED. I mean, I knew she would be the next one to graduate, but this early?

Morning Musume is just about to regain momentum, and then this happens. At most, I expected her to graduate next year after the Spring Concert. But I guess that's not the case anymore ;~;

Although this is a good card played by UFA. Wotas and fans alike are gonna be buying her last few singles by the bus loads, and definitely album and concert sales will go through the roof. I would not be surprised if her last single hits #1, which I'm seriously hoping it does.

But it will be seriously weird for their first single without her. I mean, her vocals have been around since Mr. Moonlight, the 13th single. They've now produced over 40.

They better book the biggest place in all of Tokyo for this graduation, because with all of her hard work I'd say it's worth it. Not to mention the possibility of hundreds of thousands of fans would want to go to her graduation concert (Just look at the turn out for Eri, Junjun, and Linlin's).

OOH. And a nice elegant dress too~!

I pray Ai will be the most active OG. She's absolutely got the talent for it, so hopefully she'll release a bunch of singles, an album, etc. Plus, I think it's also time for the other (especially new) members to shine as well, and maybe have the solo distribution fair again.

As for Gaki being the next leader, I'm happy for her. She worked hard for the title and deserves it, and I think she'll make a great leader. I hope she'll be a little less uptight than Ai was, and let everyone's personalities come out more naturally.

But the question is, who will be the next subleader? It's between Sayumi and Reina. Sayu could possibly get it because she's older, but I don't think the position suits her. She's amazing and very popular on variety shows, but I can't see her as leader.

Now Reina (my bias<3), she's been wanting the title of leader for a long time now. And since she's usually the lead vocalist in the songs and works just as hard, I think she should get subleader, and then once Gaki graduates Sayu can take sub.

Well, now slipping back into reality, it's confirmed Sayu will definitely be the next subleader. I hope she'll be a good figure for the new Kyukkies ^^

Even though I'm more likely to be active via my tumblr (http://namidacchi.tumblr.com/)
I'd like to start posting on my blog again (^o^)/
I've noticed how often I really want to blog long text on Tumblr, and since no one really reads it, what's the point? Might as well keep it on here :3
Dakara, I'm back <3~

Moving back to Tumblr♥

Moved back to Tumblr~

I might not blog about my feelings, but I do show amazing stuff~

Sorry for not Posting~

I apologize for not posting anything the past few days. Tons of work I have to get done, and my church is having their annual festival next week, so I have to prep for that too.
Nonetheless, I'm back 8D My posts may not be daily, but I definitely haven't quit blogging yet!

Anyways, something interesting popped up on both Youtube and Allkpop.
Korean Channel MBC is hosting a global audition titled either Star Audition or "The Birth of a Great Star"
Anyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality, can post a video of 100 seconds on Youtube, singing a K-Pop song.
The videos will be judged based on views and what some of the judges think.

I think I'll definitely go for this. I might have been rejected from auditioning from Morning Musume, but my will to be a singer is still quite strong!
And in the end, if I do end up winning, maybe I can ask a special favor? I think you get a feeling what this favor is. I don't really want to debut as a solo artist, too lonely. I'd much rather be in a group :3

Ah, right. The prize is 3 million won (about 2,000 US dollars) and MBC will sponsor you for your debut. Of the possibly thousands of people that'll audition, 500 teams will be selected and only 50 will be brought to Korea for the second round of auditions.

I'd love to see if any of you guys are also willing to audition, because I'd hate to do this alone 8D I promise to support you in return for your own support to me!
With this, here's to a bright future! Just as one door closed to me, another door opened!

I decided for blogging, I'm not just gonna look at news and talk about it. From here on, this blog is pretty much about my life and reviews of new music. So, thanks for all the reading and support you all have given me. I appreciate it very much ^^

Sincerely,
-Berry

Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game

(Translates to Girls and Boys Lullaby Game)
Gomenasai, I won't be able to properly blog today because of all these notes I have to catch up on for AP Human Geography -_-" Not to mention I borrowed the newest Percy Jackson book "Lost Hero" today, and I'm eager to read it♥
But even better, the PV (Promotional Video) for Morning Musume's 44th single (It's also Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin's last single :[) is finally out! After much anticipation, I nearly spazzed out seeing this.

Review:
The pond shots are utterly gorgeous, everyone's dress is different and unique in its own way. Although Linlin and Reina's really remind me of the dress from Princess and the Frog. Am I the only one thinking that?
The dance isn't as widely choreographer and a bit slower than I'd like, but that's alright. It'll grow eventually, just like how their dance shot outfits are growing. I still honestly don't like them. When you think about it, maybe they had to settle for these cheap ones because the gowns cost a lot? Food for thought.
Nonetheless, I love this single! One of the best they've released with this lineup. It kind of disappoints me though, that excluding for their debut single, this is the first time Junjun and Linlin have gotten solos, if you could count these as solos. They're only 2 seconds long.
For shame on Tsunku. They could've kept MoMusu's popularity up if he'd just evenly distributed the script! But he stopped that after Mikan. Blah. Not that I don't like Ai and Reina's voices. I just want everything to be evened out. OCD and all that.
Also released were the individual profile pictures of each member for the single. Kirei~

That's it for today! Sorry I haven't been able to properly post lately. I hope to do so soon when all this stuff clears up "xD
Arigatou gozimasu~

Love Is...

[No time to blog today, Gomenasai! I sincerely apologize! But read this ;D]

~A powerful weapon that can weaken anybody

~A language we can all speak, and never get wrong. Just be sure to say it clearly!

~Something that never has a happy ending, because it never ends

~For all ages

~An inescapable feeling

~One of few things that keep this world from being chaotic

~Always going to have its pains before you find “the one”

~A battle between your heart and your brain

~When you respect and know the person you’re with

~Something everyone dreams about

~When your close bonds blossom into something beautiful

~When all the songs suddenly make sense

Made up by me within the course of two minutes. As I wrote it, I thought about the one guy I’ve had on my mind the past few weeks. Could it be true love? Who knows.

Some Days I Don't Want to be Strong

Konbanwa~
Sorry for skipping out on posting yesterday. But as you all know, it was Halloween and I took some kids out Trick or Treating. As opposed to 30 minutes around if you normally walked, it took us a good 2 hours to get around the whole neighborhood. It was kind of funny, because after 20 minutes of being out the youngest (5) started complaining that her legs were starting to hurt and her bag was getting heavy XD
At that point we only hit about...less than 15 houses? They didn't even give that much candy, keke. Kids these days.

OH. But I have absolutely exciting news~
Nu. I never got a letter T^T Still pretty bummed about that. But maybe next year, ne? This news did kind of sadden me a bit but nonetheless I'm more excited than disappointed 8D
The PV Preview for Morning Musume's 44th single "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game" is out!

At first with the dance scene, I thought, "I still don't like those outfits. This PV seems kind of boring." But then as soon as it zoomed on Reina in the pondish setting I was absolutely hooked. "HOLY CREPES I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS PV. THOSE OUTFITS ARE FREAKIN GORGEOUS♥"
With all due respect, they really are 8D Everyone looks absolutely beautiful. Not only is it really saddening that such a great song is Eri, Junjun, and Linlin's last single, but I still am a bit disheartened about the audition thing.
I'm getting the hope and feeling that this song better be/will be a huge hit. They better be doing a lot of promotions or I'll be even more ticked off with Tsunku (not that I blame him for my rejection, that's probably the preliminary people that checked it).
I just remembered though, the same day this single comes out is the same day AKB48 (or SKE48, either way I don't like them) and I think some other popular group (I think it was Arashi?) plans on releasing their new single as well.
As much as I'd love to have them hit #1, you can kind of tell it's going to be very difficult. But I have faith in the group and I think they lowest they'll hit is at least 3 or 4! But let's aim for 1, since it is a last single for some.
Also released was a short radio rip of the song:
It's Niigaki Risa speaking at the beginning if you're curious. I think also with her is Junjun or Ai. Not sure.

Compared to the concert version I've heard, the concert has stronger voice, but this sounds just as great 8D Pray for a hit~

Since I missed the Halloween mark yesterday, I apologize, but this was too cool to pass up. Members of some popular groups danced to Michael Jackson's hit song "Thriller" for the occasion. I especially love Taemin's brief dance ^^ He's a seriously talented dancer.

Also pretty interesting, coming soon is 2010 MAMA. What is that? MAMA is short for Mnet Asia Music Awards. It's held yearly, and this year it's in Macau, China. As one of the advertisements to get fans to vote, 2NE1's Sandara Park promoted the voting site in Tagalog. To those of you who don't know your Asians (No offenses, but shame on you), Tagalog is the language used in my good old country the Philippines. Apparently, at one point Sandara and her little brother Thunder (of MBLAQ) used to live there.
I'm not a huge fan of 2NE1 overall, but you can't hate Dara's Filipino accent.

**TRANSLATION**
: Hello, how are you?
: Why'd you call?
: Who? Taeyang? Why?
: ah~ MAMA!
: Yes, we're going to Macau too.
: Did you vote?
: Did you vote for 2NE1?
: Ok, i'll take a look.
: 2010MAMA.com
: Vote now to 2010MAMA.COM and you can also vote on Shilla Internet Duty Free

Since it's starting to get late here, I'll wrap things up with today's song. Luckily for me, there's no school tomorrow (But wouldn't it have made better sense if it was today?), so I'll post tomorrow to kind of make up for skipping out earlier.
So, today's song is pretty inspirational and (lucky for you) in slightly accented English! G20's "Let's Go." The song and group were basically made for the 2010 Seoul Summit.

Gosh. I envy some of the girls voices. Even if they don't speak English, they can still sing it beautifully~ This year's G20 (I think it changes yearly, not sure this is my first time) consists of:
G.O (MBLAQ), JunHyung (BEAST), GaYoon (4Minute), G.NA ,Gyuri (KARA), SeoHyun (SNSD), JaeKyung (Rainbow), Kahi (AfterShool), Luna (Fx), JiEun (Secret), Min (missA), Son DamBi, IU, Anna, BomKi (Twins), JunSu (2PM), ChangMin (2AM), JongHyun (SHINee), SungMin (Super Junior), Seo InGook.

And as for today's quote...
"Think three times before you act."
- Key

That's all for today! Hope you had an awesome Halloween and weekend+week, and hope this week goes even better ^^ Thanks for all the support you guys have given me, even if I didn't make it. Who knows, maybe there'll be another audition for overseas people. A person can dream, but you have to hope and believe in it for it to come true. Thanks for the read mina-san~
